Hi Annie! Thanks for your interest in the word searches. Sorry you're experiencing some issues. Actually, what you're experiencing is an easy fix. Here's what the TpT download/purchases page says:
"If you purchased a PDF and it is after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview!"
I had the same issue when I first got my Mac, but followed these steps. Problem solved! Hope this helps you. Let me know if it doesn't and I'll be glad to assist you further. :)

Does the pack also include information on each person, so that that students can complete the timeline and other activities, or do I have to generate handouts on each of the 14 individuals? Sorry, I posted this on the wrong page the previous question is referring to the Black History Pack that goes along with the word searches. :)

The word search pack nor the regular Black History Month pack includes the info. I wanted to leave it open to you guys to choose the texts and/or internet resources for each individual. You wouldn't have to generate handouts. You could check out books from the library, show educational videos (ex. BrainPop), and allow your students to research on the internet. I've used all the three strategies with my students and they love all the different opportunities to learn about the individuals!
