Factor Race is a fast-paced game in which students race against the clock to find the factors of a number. It's designed to be used in math centers or in cooperative learning teams of 2 to 4 students. The game is great for developing fluency with finding factors, an essential skill needed to work with fractions. This freebie includes directions, 2 levels of game cards, and scoring sheets. This game is aligned with 4th grade math standard 4.0A.4 but it can also be used as a review in 5th and 6th grade.

3rd Grade (TpT Seller)
I teach 3rd grade, so this was a little tough for my students, but what Good application of their learning! A great way for my students to work on this concept. They "played" their way toward a better fluency of factors of numbers.

Thank you for the feedback. If you are an AIG teacher as your login suggests, you could also tell your students they they can get a bonus point if they find ALL the factors for a number. I did not include this in the directions because I don't have an answer key for those numbers - most of my freebies don't have answer keys. But at least one of your AIG students would probably find all the factors each time so they could monitor it themselves.
