This product can be used for students to estimate and find the perimeter or inside area of the included pictures.
With this FREE download, you get a bus, apple, ice cream cone, flower, rectangle and circle sheets. Each sheet comes in color and black & white/grayscale. The color sheets would be great to print, laminate, and use in math centers all year long! Simply switch to a new picture each week and your students will be ready to go!
As the teacher, it is up to you to determine what the students will be using as a measuring tool. (However, there is a cube measuring tool that you can cut up and use at the end of this product!)
The goal is for student's estimate and actual number to get closer to one another as the year progresses.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have PreK-6th grade experience. I started my teaching adventure by accident. My major was business and electronic commerce, but I started working part-time at a preschool during college. That job made me realize what I was truly meant to do! This fall I will begin teaching 6th grade. However, in the past I have taught Kindergarten, Reading Recovery, Title I math and reading, 5th grade inclusion special education, and a multi-grade classroom of ELL students. I was also the overseer of my first school's special education department. I also teach Asian students during the evenings, weekends, and summer.
