Included in this FREE download are three great activities! First, you will find a "Mom Survey". This is a take-home activity for students to complete with their Moms and then bring back to school to share with the class. Second, you will find a Cover page and Student page for a class book entitled "I (heart) Mom". Every month and each new season I create a class book with my class. I use these for a variety of purposes and are a great tool for tracking writing growth throughout the school year. Parents and students alike love to read and reread what each of the kiddos has to say about the topic. When I am making my class books, I use a 2 pocket folder with brads, which I simply glue my cover sheet to the front of to make the front cover. I use a three hole punch and add the student pages into the section with the brads. It makes a quick, easily "bound" book for classroom reading.

I was wondering if you could possibly email the all about mom page so I can edit it. I have parents and guardians coming in for Muffins with Mom. Some of the kids in my class do not live with mom, so I was going to change it to grandma and aunt for the kids that live with someone else. My email is shan_shan83@hotmail.com.
