I created these nice notes to send home with students when they pass a reading story. It serves two purposes - to celebrate the students' success and to let parents know what their next story is. I created a generic set as well that can be used to celebrate any success - spelling test score, helping out a friend, having good behavior, etc.!
There are 7 different themes and 28 different notes in all! Themes are: super kids, groovy peace kids, frogs, bees, cheerleaders, and monkeys!
One complete set focuses on passing reading stories and one complete set can be used to celebrate any success or goal!

My students move through a reading textbook at their own pace. When they can read their story fluently with good expression and comprehension they get to move to the next story so they "passed" their story! :) Hope this explains.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for seven years. I taught in a 2nd and 3rd grade multiage class for one year. I ran our school computer lab and taught technology lessons to all students in K-5 for two years. The 2012-2013 school year will be my fifth year teaching first grade, and love it!
