FREE Sentence Starters and Expectations for Paideia Seminars

Do you conduct Paideia Seminars with your students using novels, poetry, or other text or media selections? If so, you will want this product! You will receive "Sentence Starter" cards and "Expectations" cards--there are 2 on a page. Simply print and copy the cards on colored card stock, cut them out, and place them on students' desks before a Seminar. Students can refer to their Sentence Starters to keep Seminars and discussions lively and interesting! The Starters also encourage them to use scholarly language. The attached expectations cards will help keep your students accountable for participation and conduct during the Seminar. Set your scholars up for sucess during seminars!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
