Terry Schneider  (TpT Seller)
Hello, I love your creations. The text words are an awesome activity. However, I am not familiar with pyramid words. Can you give me a quick explanation? I do sailboats with my children, wagon words and rainbow words, but never heard of pyramid words.
Thank you.
Sincerely yours Terry Schneider 3rd grade teacher @ Clarkdale-Jerome Elementary.

Hi Terry! No problem! Pyramid-writing is when the kids spell the word with its first letter, then its first two letters, then its first three letters, and so on. As the kids add a new letter, it resembles a pyramid.

I will try to type it below, but the formatting of the reply box may make it look funny (all letters should be centered on top of one another):

g
gr
gri
grin

Hope this helped! :)
