This chart is what I use each year to track students reading progress throughout the year. It includes Rigby and Fountas & Pinnell levels. I include this with student report cards each period.

There are various charts for various grade levels.

**NEWLY UPDATED
I just added some charts at the end to reflect the new Fountas and Pinnell suggested reading levels.

I appreciate your reading level charts, however I think there is a push to get kids further beyond level B in kindergarten now We are encouraged to get our kids to at least level D and hopefully level E. Is there a way to make a chart that doesn't put a limit on the grade level underneath but leaves an option blank so that the teacher can write in---You made it beyond the expectations for K or 1st or 2nd, according to the child. That way it can fit for any situation. I love your work and can hardly wait to implement your writing goal chart with my kindergartners!

I just updated the file with 2 pages of charts that are blank where the grade level should be. You can adjust as needed to your schools expectations!

Love this :) Could you make one that has beginning of 2nd Grade instead of 1st Grade? That would be great! Thanks in advance :)

I thought I previously fixed that and uploaded it. Sorry! I just uploaded a version that simply states "where they began the year at" instead of a specific grade level. Hope that helps you out!

It is Doodle Tipsy I believe. You shouldn't have trouble with it since it is a PDF file. If you are a Mac user, it may be printing funny if you don't open the document up in an updated adobe program. Also, open it and print, not print from preview. Hope that helps!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Grades Taught:
Subject Area:

I have been teaching since 2000. I started out in 4th grade for two years then went on to teach 3rd grade for 6 years. I have been teaching 1st grade ever since and have loved every bit of it. I believe all elementary teachers need to experience 1st grade for at least a year....there is so much learning and growing going on...it is amazing!
