Frequently assess your students in order to get feedback on their learning with this formative assessment template! For "Think-Pair-Share" the teacher gives the students a topic. One option is to have each student think of as many words as they can that are related to that topic, and write them down. Then each student finds a partner and shares their answers. They write down any words that their partner has that they don't already have written down in order to create a longer list. When everyone has finished students raise their hands to share their answers with the class! The teacher can reward the pair with the most words! Also give options for doing the activity on white boards or online.
