Do you advise completing the Weekly Word Wizard activities together or independently? Is a single page meant to be completed daily or throughout the week? Just wondering how you use it most effectively. I love the way it looks and the concept!

Hi Lolly :)
At the beginning of the year we do it together, a few boxes a day over the course of a week (one page front and back). We usually do this for about 3 weeks, by week 4 I assign it to them to work in independently over a few days and we check it together. Eventually, it becomes a word work center for my kids. I've heard lots of teachers that assign it as part of morning work and also for homework. It's pretty flexible. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions, just ask :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Grades Taught:
Subject Area:

I've been teaching for 17 years. I started out as a 5th grade drop-out prevention teacher and I am currently teaching 2nd grade gifted students. In between, I also taught 3rd and 4th grade, was the Drop-out prevention resource specialist, and taught writing as a special. I value each of my different experiences so much because they have really given me a unique perspective of the needs of so many different teachers and students.
