I was not impressed that this was a .pdf. I teach in Canada and cannot edit this document to change the spelling of "favorite" to "favourite" or change the number of students. I am new to tpt, so I would like to know how one knows if you are purchasing a .doc or .pdf file. Wasted $

I am sorry that you have experienced this. Please feel free to contact TpT for a refund since you feel that you wasted you money. In the future, you could always email the seller and request that they send you the file in an .doc file, and usually if we are asked nicely, a lot of us are more than happy to do that. My computer has crashed since I created this, and I do not have the original to send you, had you asked. Also, usually all files sold on TpT are uploaded in PDF to avoid copyright infringements where things like fonts and clip art are involved to avoid getting into legal issues. Hope this helps.
