This is a template I created to look exactly like a facebook page. Your students will never have to access facebook to create a realistic looking facebook page. This template is set up in Microsoft Word. Students can use this template to create a facebook page for a historical, fictional, scientific, mathematical character. It could be used virtually in any content area. It should be a really fun way for students to create short research reports on any individual. This assignment will get the attention of today's student in a real and engaging way. Research just became interesting again!
I sure hope so. If you have examples of one's that your students create, please feel free to share them with me. I will post them on my website, www.ideasforteachers.org.
The reason I gave this project a B is because there is not much to it. I was looking for a design that was closer to the current timeline feature. All the students had to do was a couple of wall posts
This was created before timeline became mandatory for facebook users. I did provide a sample of the template so that you could see the format. Thanks for the feedback.

The template should just be blank. Do you just want a copy that has Katniss on it? If so, go to http://www.ideasforteachers.org/the-hunger-games-project-samples.html. This is my website where I have a copy posted. Let me know how else I can help.
