This is a lesson plan used to teach fact families and it reinforces the idea of turn-around facts. Students use number cards to write fact families on slates or paper. To assess the lesson students select number cards and record their answer using a fact family graphic organizer. Please leave feedback.

I have been teaching for 8 years. My first year I spent teaching first grade. Then I went to a a different school and taught kindergarten for 4 years and 4th grade for a year. Last year, I taught 2nd grade and I decided to go back to kindergarten this year. Let's just say I really love teaching kindergarten! For five years, I taught at a Reading First School and received intense training in reading instructional strategies. I have a masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
