Are there typos on the yellow sheet? For instance shouldn't there be a square for 1000 m and 1 km if I wanted to convert from km to meters or vice versa? Am I just not looking at this right? I really want to try this with my kids. Any help would be appreciated.
Yes--you would need to have a 1000 m and a 1 km square if you wanted to go from m to km or vice versa. I have many more squares in the games in my classroom. I laminated them and have used them for many years. This game can be expanded for use in your classroom but it is just the basics so that is why it is a free download. In my game I have about 50 of the yellow cards per game (pair of students).
For the past twelve years, I have taught chemistry, physics, earth science, environmental science, and physical science. I now teach chemistry and physics in a technology rich private school.
