I want my students to be able to look at a simple quadratic equation and know its factorization in an instant. Here is a Powerpoint presentation where students are given 40 problems to quickly factor. Set the slide show to transition between slides at a speed (i.e. 30 seconds) that you would want the students to factor a problem. Answers are provided at the end of the 40 questions. This can also be used as a warm-up activity.

I have been a teacher for more than 20 years. During this time, I taught math and computers at the junior high level and computers at the elementary level. I also worked as a mentor teacher and technology coordinator where I trained teachers on using technology in their classrooms. I have started a page on Facebook where I or anyone can add tips for integrating curriculum and technology. Search for "Technology for Teachers" and click the "Like" button to get tips. Finally, click below to view my site highlighting websites to use with students: https://sites.google.com/site/techandteachers/home
