This is a set of notes that help students use a graphic organizer to factor polynomials. These notes are broken down into steps and with each step the student can see how to apply that step to the problem. The example is will require the student to factor out a common multiple before factoring and then it is a polynomial of with the leading coefficient of 1. On the side there is also an explanation of the reasoning used to accomplish that step to the example problem.
