This activity can be used in a small group setting or can be used at the completion of your fairy tale unit. The students will read a variety of classified ads to determine what fairy tale the ad is describing and match them with the fairy tale title cards. The students will do this through context clues and text features. Once the students have done this, they will create their own classified ads. I have included a sheet with numerous suggestions of different types of classified ads they can use. They can even use some of the same fairy tales I used but I encourage them to do this with a different type of classified ad than mine. I have also included a list of fairy tale books as well as fractured fairy tales.
