Some of the pages have these black thick lines that go through them when I downloaded the file onto my computer. Is there any way that can be fixed? Also, I noticed on the alphabet chart some letters were both in uppercase and lowercase and the other letters aren't. Can that be fixed also please?

I am not sure if you can type it in with adobe. Have you thought about writing them after you print them? That is what I am going to do. :)
