This short unit focuses on having students research, interview, create, and share family traditions. The second part asks the students to research, create, and apply the knowledge of families in other countries with their own. The final part is presentation of books, projects, and knowledge to the whole class. It can be incorporated into a class celebration of global families at the holidays. It's a wonderful way to celebrate our differences and similarities.
