This project is a great way to round out a unit on Immigration in Social Studies. I use it with my fourth graders. The item I'm selling is solely the direction sheet with details on how to complete the project. The actual genealogical record forms to use with your students can be found for FREE at this website:

Simply follow the link above and print out the FREE genealogy sheets for your students.
I do this project with my fourth graders, and they always enjoy it! It's a nice, end-of-the-year take home project. All you need to do is make copies, discuss it with the kids and watch their presentations! It's a great way for them to explore their heritage!
Ask Kristin Dahl a question. They will receive an automated email and will return to answer you as soon as possible.

This is my 13th year teaching. I've taught 2nd grade for 6 years, and the rest of my time in 4th grade. I also own my own educational consulting business. My staff and I teach staff development workshops in school districts across Western New York.
