My students LOVED having our special visitor from the North Pole! On the last day before Winter Break, my class asked if they would be able to write our little friend to wish her safe travels and to keep her updated on what is going on in our classroom in January. I couldn't resist!

Such a cute follow up activity. I wish you had made the lines on the paper in "letter" form (lines for the date, greeting, etc different) so it is easier for the students to follow. Otherwise, it is sweet!

I think the letter to the class elf is so sweet. I wish you had made the letter paper in eh letter writing format so it was easier for the students to follow - different lines for the date and greeting, etc. There was also a typo in your beginning note of explanation - I think it was "shoe" instead of "show". If you decide to update this, you might keep those thoughts in mind. I look forward to having my students write our elf - they were so excited this year! (My first year in 2nd grade - formerly middle school math - quite a switch!)
Thank you so much for your suggestions! I love the feedback and will get those pesky typos and add a few more pages to meet those needs! Make sure to redownload in the next day or so! :)
I have had the pleasure of teaching first grade for 12 years and have loved every minute of it! This year, I am off on a new adventure....the world of second grade!!
