A unique Father's Day card. After reading Eric Carle's Mr. Seahorse, which is about male fish who care for thier children, students write about how thier dad is special to them.
There are 3 different types of papers to choose from for the inside of the card.
- The top 3 reasons you are special to me...
-Blank friendly letter form
-Fill in the sentence starters: You are the best because... My favorite thing to do with you is.... Your favorite thing to do is....
All can be made for Dad, Grandpa or Uncle, the word Dad does not appear on any of the papers.
The patterns are given for both seahorses, which can be copied and painted or made into patterns to trace.
After painting seahorses with water colors just add tissue paper seaweed and shells for a one of a kind card.
