What does a fermata look like and what do you do when you see one? This is the last song in a set of 13 songs that I've written to help my choir students learn basic music concepts. TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I currently teach Junior High Vocal Music: Choir and General Music. I'm the Assistant Director for the Lawrence Children's Choir and also teach private voice lessons (high school students, mostly.) I'm an alum of the Voice Care Network and have a Master's in Vocal Performance. I've taught singing at every level, including college, but find that there's something uniquely delightful (and challenging!) about working with Junior High-aged people!
