Children roll a cube. You can program it for anything- numbers, letters, words, or shapes. Children roll the cube and write what is on the top of the cube. For example, if they roll a 2 they could write numeral, the word, that number of tallies, ect. You could also have them roll two cubes and add or multiply the numbers and then write that number on the icon on the sheet. You could laminate and have the children use and erase, or run copies for center work.
