This handout is to be used after viewing the film Witness. The questions are based on the Bonus Features of the new Witness DVD. The title of the documentary is Between Two Worlds. It gives the viewer a unique look into the enormous amount of effort and meticulous attention to details that go into making a film. Witness was a risky venture for both the director, Peter Weir and its star, Harrison Ford. Weir, acclaimed in Australia, had never made a film in America; Ford, known for his larger than life blockbuster heroes such as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, had never played such a complex character as John Book. (Please remember as noted in previous handout that this film is rated R for violence, language, and partial nudity.)
