This a final quiz, review/practice worksheet, homework, etc. to use as a concluding activity for a study of Alexander the Great. It is meant to be used during or after a basic textbook study of Alexander and accompanied by the well-known and excellent documentary called "In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great." The format is that of CLOZE reading drill.
Student directions: Alexander the Great is one of the most famous figures in world history. He created an empire and accomplishments that affect our world to this day. Below is the story of Alexander's life. Recalling what we saw in the TV documentary In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great and read and discussed in class, you must fill in the missing words in the story of his life. A word bank is provide to help you spell names and places correctly.
