We all know how important fire prevention is, especially at school and FOR SURE, in elementary school.
During the year, rules and directions for fire drills are practiced frequently.
This song ( which is one of many appearing on a my children's album produced as a fund raiser) is catchy and rhythmical. It contains 6 verses and is intended to draw attention to fire prevention rules in a fun way. It's ALWAYS been well-received and is used in many schools today.
Anyone purchasing this song will be sent the transposition (for free) via e-mail upon request. This transposition was done by our music teacher so it may be helpful in singing the song as well as using it as poetry.

34 years...12 in Physical education and 22 in elementary classrooms, 20 of those years were in multi-age classrooms by choice. Voluntarily transferred several times in my career to become involved in different MA classes. Writing for education and creatively otherwise for 35 years. Have received several awards for technological integration into the curriculum and for leadership. I am now retired and partner in an educational consulting firm.
