I just stumbled upon this and look forward to using it next September. When my daughter was in first grade this was one of the first books she read (Mary Wore Her Red Dress). I have fond memories of her using those color words in her writing and reciting. She is 29 now! I hope my students enjoy this activity and book as much as she did. Thank you!
