This packet is intended to help with organizing your lessons, printables, assessments, etc. into a 3 ring binder.
Cover Sheet: Can be used for the cover of your binder (insert it into the clear sheet on the front of your binder). This cover sheet list items that can be included in your binder.
Domain Heading sheets: These sheets are to go in-front of the each section.
Strand Heading Sheets: Each strand has it’s own sheet that outlines the clusters. At the bottom of these sheets, you will see a box where you can document when you teach the strand and when it will be tested, prompts that you use, literature lists, Project lists, etc. Laminate this page so you can reuse it and not have to print it each year.
**Put all sheets in sheet protectors so they last longer.
Order of Pages:
The binder should go in-order of the Common Core. Start with the “Reading Literature” Cover sheet and follow the order. Once you have all sheets in, you can start adding activities, assessments, worksheets, etc. that meet that strand into each section. This way, when you teach a strand, you can easily refer back to certain activities or assessments. This also helps you to see where you may need more activities or more testing for certain strands. This would also be great to use for PLC’s. Maybe even create ONE larger binder for your grade level so you can combine all your lessons or assessments so it can get at EVERYONE’s fingertips. Works great for collaboration.
