This is a booklet that can be reproduced into a student journal that has a place for their writing as well as an illustration. If you need it for another grade level, just let me know and I can change it for you. The listing includes two choices for writing line size pages (one has larger writing lines and the other has narrower sizes- you could even use the narrower sized lines toward the end of your journal for the end of the year).

Hi!! Can you tell me how the writing paper is ruled. I am looking for something less than 3/4 in. because I find that too big for first graders. I use the same journal for the entire year. Are you able to adjust the lines? Thanks.

I just used a 24 pt font to make the lines. I will modify the line sizes and add it as a third page to the listing so you can choose either size you like. Good idea!
