This graphing activity has students determining data, collecting data, and creating thier own bar graph.
The first worksheet has students determining information given about the colors of bobbers that were used to go fishing. Students are asked to complete a series of questions about the graph.
After completing the first worksheet students will collect data about how many students in the classroom have been fishing before and how many have caught a fish. You can complete this activity by having students break up into groups and create a graph with the data you have collected. After enough time has passed students will come back together to share their graphing results.
