This is a great book that teaches the five characteristics of being a good friend: caring, trustworthy, responsibility, fairness, and respect. This covers the History and Civics strand in Kindergarten about Friendship. I incorporate their own examples of how they can be a good friend by writing on Handwriting without Tears lines. I hope you enjoy it! Jill Patrick

What a nice book to read aloud to the class or turn into a coloring book for each child.

I used them as an assessment tool for my students. The students enjoyed the pictures and they were able to complete the assignment with minimal teacher help. Thank you for sharing your creativity.

My students need lots of help with these concepts. Thank you for providing lessons that will give us some extra attention to these areas! :)
