With this fun hands on literacy activity, students will read CVC words. They will flip a word with a spatula and the vowel will change to make a new word.
Examples: pin-pan hat-hot dog-dig
Instructions, Pancake CVC words, and recording sheet are included.
I use dollar store cookie sheets and spatulas to make this a high interest center in my room.

I just wanted to mention that I've downloaded other products that use this font. I teach remedial reading and my students struggle even more when the letters appear like they are upside down. It's very confusing for them. That's why I gave it the C for clarity. I do like your idea, very cute.

This is an adorable center, but would work really well if I could use it to teach the "flip the vowel" CAFE strategy. I would need CVC words paired with CVCe words like hat/hate man/mane
