This {FREEBIE} includes 25 pages of nonsense word cards from Dibels (and a recording sheet for timing purposes) and 6 pages of punctuation fluency practice. Copy the nonsense cards on colored cardstock and put each color on an o-ring. Students can work on fluency and beating their time to go through the words. The Punctuation fluency pages are just for fun. The first 2 pages are the abc's with punctuation thrown in to work on reading using those marks. Then there are 2 pages of nonsense words with punctuation, as well as decodable words. I hope you can find this resource useful!

Finally an activity with real practicality. I love that it is printed on colored card stock, not with colored ink. This saves a lot of money--which teachers don't have. Thank you for sharing. This will be a great center to add to my classroom.

I have been teaching since 2000. I started out in 4th grade for two years then went on to teach 3rd grade for 6 years. I have been teaching 1st grade ever since and have loved every bit of it. I believe all elementary teachers need to experience 1st grade for at least a year....there is so much learning and growing going on...it is amazing!
