This is a 12 slide power point that introduces what fluency is, why it is important, and how we can become fluent readers. It discusses what fluent readers do before, during, and after reading.
This is a great Power Point to present to your students, especially to help them understand that fluency is not just about speed. I found that after I defined fluency for my students, they were more aware of the reading process.
