So, I just used this lesson for my observation and it was a huge hit. I add just a few gold fish and three cookies and we talked about recourses in a habitat and what happens what happens when they run out.

This was a perfect interactive activity for my students to see how a food chain actually worked. The best thing was one of my snakes did not get any food and I was able to talk about competing plays a role in animals getting thier food.
