Score!!! It's Football Fun for the Common Core!!
This packet consists of 7 Math Center activities fully aligned to the K-1st Grade Common Core Standards! Standards are listed below and on each activity. This packet consists of super cute football graphics thanks to Melonheadz and adorable place value & clock graphics are from The 3AM Teacher.
Inside the Packet:
Activity 1: Football Frenzy Common Core Aligned Place Value Game: Standards: K.NBT.1 and 1.NBT.2. Students draw a card, build that number on their place value mat, and record their answer on the corresponding recording sheet. This game is easily adaptable according to the skills that have been introduced. Firsties can use all of the cards, as Kinders will most likely only go up to 20 or higher. (27 pages)
Activity 2: Score! Standards: 1.MD.3 (not a K standard but I will still teach to my kinders!) Students draw a card and record the analog clock to a digital format on the scoreboard! (10 pages)
Activity 3: Football Number Clip! Standards: K.CC.3 & 1.NBT.1. Students have a large football with the number 0-10 or 0-20. Teacher has placed the number words onto clothespins. The student must pin the number word onto the matching numeral.

Activity 4: Addition & Subtraction Word Problems. Standards. K.OA.2 and 1.OA.1 (5 pages)
Activity 5: Count this way & that! Standards: K.CC.1 and 1.NBT.1
Students count by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. (11 pages)
Activity 6: Who comes next? Standards: K.CC.2 & 1.NBT.1. Students draw a card and write the next 2 numbers that follow. Helping students not rely on starting at 1 to count! (7 pages)
Activity 7: Sort, Graph, and Tally. Standards: K.MD.2 and 1.MD.4. Teaching students the importance of showing their answers more than 1 way. (4 pages)
