This Force and Motion illustrated dictionary allows students to illustrate the definitions related to Force and Motion as they learn through classroom experiences. (Definitions are already included in the booklet for students so that they can spend their time on learning and illustrating!)
You can use the dictionary as a debrief or closing to your lesson by having students complete the illustrations for terms that you taught during that lesson or you can complete the dictionary project as an introduction to force and motion or culmination to the unit of study.
This tool is great for helping students review terms and helping them hold on to the vocabulary they have learned (especially if they will be tested in science at the end of the year.)
18 force and motion related words included! (Also includes a one-page definition reference for the teacher)
Students need at least 6 exposures to master critical vocabulary. If science is a tested subject in your state, this is a great addition to any vocabulary activities you already do!
