Investigate force and motion using toys. Apply a force to put toys in motion and observe the effect of different surfaces on the motion of toys.
Science at Play! Karen Ostlund and Sheryl Mercier team up to take students through the levels of science inquiry with a scaffolded approach using everyday toys. The lessons start as very teacher directed and with each one, the student takes over more and more of the planning and implementation of the investigation until they are ready to do a Full Inquiry of their choice.

Scaffolded inquiry (Directed, Guided, Connected and Full) provide essential support to help students construct the skills and knowledge needed to conduct independent inquiry.

I love the force and motion unit you created. I was really excited about the graphic organizer that is featured in Thumbnail 2 of the preview. When I downloaded the packet however that organizer was not included. Would you please let me know where I can purchase it?
