I'm sorry if there was something that made you feel uncomfortable. The unit is made so that you can edit and use what you feel is necessary, especially in one of this size. I do it all the time, even with my own units, depending on the grade level.
If it is in reference to the Dr. Doolittle pushmi-pullyu lesson, the text is taken directly from the classic book, Dr. Doolittle, and is written in the voice of its author and from the time period. It is not meant to offend at all and can be easily left out.
