This zip file contains directions for guess the covered word for grades 2-3 as well as Guess the Covered Word Activities to be completed with students interactively on the Smartboard. The activities include short stories (fiction and non-fiction) with particular words covered up at the beginning of the word (usually the digraph or the first letter of the word)as well as the remainder of the word. Students use reading strategies to "Guess" the words underneath the blocks.
