This fabulous opinion writing lesson is based on the Common Core Standards. This lesson plan includes teacher instructions, student instructions, a student sample, and a list of possible writing topics for 4th graders. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 6th grade for 8 years at both the middle school and elementary school setting. I am GATE-certified and enjoy incorporating choice into my lessons. I work with 1st and 4th graders as well during the summers. I love working with children and learn from them every day!
