This is an integrated fractions unit for grades 3-8. If you are bored with your fraction chapter, try what we've created. It is heavy on word problems and real world applications. There is a pre and post test, teacher-made worksheets, a quiz, lots of group activities, and even an assigned point value.

I've been teaching since 2000. I taught sheltered 6th grade in a low-income district near Chicago for 4 years, and 3rd and 4th grade for two years. I also taught 2nd and 3rd grade summer school. I earned National Board Certification in 2008. I currently work as an ESL/ELL specialist teacher for K-5. I do both small group (pull-out) teaching as well as co-teaching in regular classrooms.
