Have you started directed drawings in your classes yet? It is a great tool to enhance listening skills, language skills, fine motor skills, as well as visual motor skills. I am providing this freebie to get people started with the simplest drawing of an object all children are familiar with, an apple! Your students will be amazed at their capabilities (and so will you!). Once you get going with directed or guided drawing in your classrooms, you can add sentences, labels, and words to the pictures to incorporate other literacy skills you are working on! I love this! I'm thinking that this will be a great activity I can use since I'm starting a new job mid-year. I'd like to see how they can listen and follow directions, plus copy from the board.

Love your stuff! Directed drawing is awesome and it is a chore to put an activity together. I do this almost daily for motor planning and this will be a nice break from the face activities we have been doing lately.
