This mini-packet contains two math games to get students counting counters in ten frames, writing numbers, and writing number words. The two activities in this packet compliment any farm unit you might already have. Best of all, students will be having so much fun, they won't even realize how much they are learning about numbers! Thank you for your free fall labeling journal. this is my 2nd year in K and I am struggling with how to inspire the kiddos to write when some are still learning their letters. I am looking forward to your future journaling posts and I will look for the other one you mentioned.
Thank you so much!! Kindergarten writing is a challenge when some kids don't know their letters and sounds, but others are ready for more. I hope that my future writing journals will give you some direction. I have had a lot of really great training on the topic of writing, but so little of it applies to the kiddos who aren't quite ready to sound out words. Believe it or not, there are a lot of things you can do with these kids to help them become better writers by using what they can draw. I absolutely LOVE writing with kindergarten kids and would love to help you in any way I can until the journals are posted. Please let me know if you have specific struggles and I might be able to offer some ideas. Thanks for your support on TpT! I look forward to hearing from you.
