Hi there, Thank you for the frames. They are lovely. Can you please tell me how to I type inside the frame. I tried to use text box but for some reason the box covers the whole frame. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. Can you please provide me instructions on how to use them? I am using MS Word on a Mac if that makes any difference.

Since I do not use MAC and I am not sure what version of Microsoft you are using, I am afraid that I will not be of much help to you; however, I did do a quick search and I found this link in the Microsoft help files. This "how-to" also covers the tutorial for a MAC (-;

The frames are meant to be used just like any other clip art. You can open a new document, choose to insert an image, and then place the image/frame where you want it.

The process really depends on what OS you are using (PC or MAC). There are several tpt sellers who actually have tutorials on this, Traci Orman and Erica B. are two that I know of who have great tutorials.

I am so sorry...I actually moved my TOU to the top menu of my blog where it says, TERMS.....I thought it would be easier to find that way, but I almost forgot where it was myself after I moved the link..hahaha

These are great! I am having trouble getting all of them though. I downloaded and unzipped the files from tpt. All the frames pictures on the first 3 lines are there, but none of the frames from the last 5 lines. Anything I'm doing wrong? HOw do I get the other frames pictured. (the picture on your blog.) Thanks so much for these!

Okay, you are going to want to open the Google Docs file that I have up on that blog link. Once you do, you will scroll over the pictures & click on the one you want to get. The link will take you to the specific URL or free set that I have up on my blog or on TPT.

I do not have a Mac, but I was told that Mac pages is sort of like the MAC version of Word...am I correct or way off?? I know that there are many other people with MAC computers the have used the frames, so it should work just fine.

You should look through the forum or start a thread in the TPT forum if you need some help. I am sorry that I can't be of much help when it comes to the MAC operating system...

This is a compressed zipped file and should include all of the borders you see in the thumbnails. You can use these frames the same way you would use any other clip art.

Open a new Word Doc.
Choose: Insert Image/picture
Browse/locate the image file where you saved it on your computer
and press okay to insert it into WORD.

Once in Word, you can position and size the image the way you would like..

NOTE** If the image appears to be "stuck" where you inserted it - here is what you will need to do...

1. Click on the image and the Picture tool bar will appear.
2. With the picture tool bar open go to >WRAP TEXT. >Click on WRAP TEXT and scroll down to select > IN FRONT OF TEXT

To add text to the frame, all you need to do is click on the INSERT tab> TEXT BOX >Scroll down to choose >DRAW TEXT BOX

Your i-beam will become a plus sign and you can click anywhere in the document, hold down and drag until you get the size you want. You can always re-size or change the look by right clicking the corner of the box (make sure your mouse is showing the move tool and not your ibeam) scroll down to Format text box and you will have many options to play around with.

I unzipped the files and saved to my flash drive then I tried three times to print the blue frame and each time one side was cut off just a little. Do you have any idea why it would do that?

You may need to shrink to fit in your printing options. Are you inserting the picture into any program or are you just choosing to print?

Make sure to unzip and/or extract the file, save the images onto your flash drive or computer, and then you can insert them into Word files. If you continue to experience problems, you can also contact TPT tech support (I think her name is Sally).

You save the images to your computer. When you have Word or Publisher open, select insert picture from file...locate the image that you want to add & click OK.

You can resize and write over the image. To write over the image, create a text box or type directly over the border.

Please do not fret over this redundant question...but my computer is a Dell and I'm working with Microsoft Office 2007. When I try to download the free frames, Microsoft WORD does open, unfortunately a script error box pops up and says the freebie frames cannot be saved due to empty contents. I really would LOVE to figure this out so I can use these adorable frames you have made! Any suggestions for a newbie?

You should be downloading a zipped file, not a Word doc. The individual png images are zipped, so you will need to unzip the file and extract the images. Once you extract the images, you should be able to save them onto your computer in Pictures or documents (your preference). Try this first.

When I downloaded the frames, the first 4 (which I LOVE) just link back to TPT for some reason and there are a few that link to your blog. The other issue I had was that some of the cute frames get cut off when I try to print them. Do you have any ideas for me? I'm not really tech-savvy but I'll try anything to get these adorable frames!!!!!!

Let me find you the direct link for the free frames files I have on TPT. Also, you can re-size the frames and/or set the margins in printer options to make sure that nothing gets deleted. Make sure to choose print preview before actually printing to look at what it will print out like (this will save you the hassle of wasting paper) (-;

The images are in a compressed zipped file. Make sure you have a program to unzip the file..The file is too large to email and I cannot try to send that many images over several emails...email me if you can't seem to still unzip it and I will do my best to try and figure it out...or you can always contact the TPT support...I have not had anyone else tell me that his has happened to them, so maybe it is a problem with how your are downloading it...

Try: saving the file on your computer hard drive (not an external drive) and then opening the file...this may work if your securtiy settings on your browser are set to not allow downloads from the web. I can walk you through the process of changing this setting (as long as you have a PC not a MAC)...We will figure it out (-; Just use the email above (-;

How do I use these frames when they are in PDF? Do I need a PDF converter? They are all so cute :)

You can convert the files if you have Adobe Acrobat Professional; however, I would much rather save you the hassle and send you the image files. I know I already responded to your question above, but I wasn't sure if you had the program to convert them or not. I am really glad you like them- thank you.
