This center will help your students ease their way into multiplication. It covers repeated addition and models in order to find the product of each multiplication sentence. Students will choose a card and use their recording sheet to solve the problem.
*Prior instruction/discussion must occur before students use this center. I shared a multiplication BrainPop video as well as several whole group and small group activities illustrating why/how we use multiplication in everyday life.

After a quick review of addition and subtraction, we dive into multiplication and then practice, practice, practice. By December, my students are zipping through the 3 basics --addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Your center is a perfect fit. Thanks for sharing.
