This product was updated in December of 2011 to include a review game (see below) and is still FREE!!!
I use this in my Middle School French Classes as part of a unit on French Geography. 100 questions on France. Can be used as part of an internet search assignment or most answers can be found on France CultureGram (www.culturegrams.com). Covers Land, People, Economy, Government, Mountain Ranges, Rivers, Transportation, etc. Also contains a map of France to be labelled with pertinent geographic information. I often use this as a substitute assignment and it works well for that purpose.
This update also includes a game ("21", similar to the $10,000 Pyramid gameshow) to help students review the material.) Students love this game!
A wonderful activity for French classes! I love how thorough it is and especially like that there is a game component as well.
However, the answer key should be updated to reflect the new French president. Additionally, the answer key states that students begin learning a second language at age 9. When I taught English in France, they began foreign language classes at age 6.
Thanks for the reminder on the President. I will update that. I'm guessing it depends on regions as to when students begin study of a foreign language. I know that schooling itself is compulsive as of age 6, but most of the time I assign this, I allow my students to use CultureGrams to complete the activity as I mentioned in my instructions. The most updated CultureGram on France states that foreign language education begins at nine. I'll leave the answer key at 9 for right now, but that's probably one where your mileage may vary. Thanks!

OOPS!! I didn't see the "Product Overview" before I sent my question about your resource. I am new to the TpT website so I am still finding my way around it! THanks again for the fantastic download!

LOVE this unit!! Do you have your students search a certain website for the answers or do you have them watch a certain DVD? Just curious what your resource is for your students' responses.
It looks like you might have found your answer already, but if not, the best resource I have in my state is CultureGrams. Our State Office of Education has purchased rights for our entire state to use it for free. It has answer for most (but not all) of the questions and students can try to find the others on their own. I usually have to provide a few of the answers for them.

Hi Mike,
I have translated some of your ideas into French for my students' term project. Hope that that is ok? Thank you so much for your ideas. Saves loads of time. Merci bien.
