These printable passes are "parfait" for French class! They can be used in a variety of ways depending upon your school's policies and your personal preferences and philosophy. Pick and choose the ones that suit you best!
Bathroom passes. Print, cut, and laminate. Issue to students who wish to use the bathroom. Students must return with the pass. Print and laminate only one or two, depending on how many students you will allow to use the bathroom at the same time. Another option is to issue one bathroom pass per student per marking period.
Hall passes. Print, cut, and laminate. These passes may be used in the same way as the bathroom pass, but they are more general: bathroom, locker, office, library, etc.
Homework passes. Issue a homework pass as a special reward! The pass may be redeemed for full credit of one regular, daily assignment.
Semester passes. These aren't for every school or every teacher, but it is a system that I have developed and used with success. Every student receives two signed passes at the beginning of every marking period or semester. The passes may be used to cover a tardy (of 2 minutes or less), a trip to the bathroom, or a forgotten daily assignment. Once a student uses (or loses) their passes, the regular consequences will take effect, or a penalty will be assessed for bathroom visits (except in cases of medical need, bien sûr.) Students are encouraged to save their passes for a bonus or reward at the end of the marking period.
Sample thumbnails show one pass so that you can see the detail. In reality, there are 4 identical images per page for ease of printing/copying.
