The pictures are useful and will catch the students' attention. I was wondering what you used to first two slides for?

I use the first 2 slides to introduce the vocabulary completely in French. I go over each picture in detail, gesturing or acting out the picture. I want my students to hear the vocabulary word several times before they see them in print. After I have described all of the verbs on a slide, I have the students repeat all of the infinitives. I will also ask several questions, such as, "Est-ce que tu aimes _____?" or "Est-ce que tu aimes ______ ou _______ ?" I spend several minutes (about 10-12) on those first slides. Then I use the next slides to call on individuals to provide answers. I use TONS of repetition with any vocabulary group.
